Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the questions we hear most about FitFo. If your question isn't here, reach us via the support page.

Positioning

What FitFo is, and isn't

Where FitFo sits in your routine, and where it deliberately does not.

FitFo is named after a question you can ask yourself, a friend, or your coach — Am I healthy? Shall we train together? Am I training this the right way? FitFo is an AI training partner that connects those questions with your past records and today's state.
Most fitness apps are good at one job: a record, a plan, a class, a feed. FitFo is built around the gap between those jobs — the moment you stand in front of an unfamiliar machine, log a meal, or finish a session and don't know how to adjust next time. It carries context across decisions, not just data across screens.
Chat is one way FitFo reaches you. Underneath it is a long-term record of what you've trained, eaten, and adjusted. The chat uses that record to suggest the next step; it does not invent answers outside the record.
No. A coach knows your history face to face. FitFo is the layer between sessions — when you are alone in a gym or between meals — that carries context and offers a next step you can confirm or change.

Audience

Who FitFo is for

Two kinds of people, asked the same way.

FitFo fits two readers. (1) People starting or restarting fitness — busy professionals, students, or anyone who wants to train well but cannot afford a private coach. (2) Anyone who keeps starting and stopping alone, and wants company that does not require being social.
Yes. Your first session in a gym is exactly when context matters most. FitFo helps you recognize the machine, understand what it trains, and follow a plan that fits the time and energy you have today.
Yes. The plateau and the lonely stretch between sessions are not solved by more gym time. FitFo helps you keep a long record you can review, and gives you a next step when your usual pattern stops working.
Yes. Even simple sessions benefit from a record that connects training, meals, and how you feel. Logging is light, and the suggestions are calibrated to whatever level you actually do.

Capabilities

What FitFo can do

Three connected jobs: see the moment, suggest the next step, remember it.

Yes. Point your camera at a machine and FitFo explains what it trains, how to set it up, and what a sensible first set looks like. Always confirm setup, form, and your own state before training.
Yes. A meal photo becomes an editable nutrition record you can review before saving. Estimates can be wrong; verify anything that matters for your health.
Tell FitFo your goal and how you feel today. It returns a session — sets, reps, flow — that fits the time you have. You stay in control of accepting, editing, or replacing it.
Yes. Each session and meal is logged in the same long-term view, so reviewing progress is one timeline rather than three separate apps.

Boundaries

Boundaries and your data

Where FitFo stops, and where your data lives.

FitFo is a training and nutrition planning tool, not a medical one. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace guidance from a licensed healthcare professional. For pain, injury, disease, medication, or rehabilitation, please consult a qualified human practitioner.
Your training, nutrition, and personal records stay under your account. FitFo uses them to give you suggestions. They are not sold, and they are not used to train foundation models outside your control without permission.
Yes. Equipment recognition, meal nutrition, and workout suggestions are AI estimates. Treat them as a starting point you verify, not a final answer — especially around injuries, allergies, and prescribed diets.
No on the default path. Aggregate, anonymized, opt-in research is described in the privacy policy. Personal identifiable records stay linked to your account, and you can export or delete them.

Access

Launch and access

How to be among the first.

FitFo is preparing for launch. The fastest way to be notified of the public release, TestFlight, and platform expansions is the waitlist.
Join the waitlist first. TestFlight invitations go out in waves to waitlisted users, with priority based on platform fit and feedback availability.
First notice of the public release, early TestFlight access where applicable, platform expansion news, and a direct line to the team for early feedback.
iOS is the priority platform. Watch and additional platforms are on the roadmap. Joining the waitlist ensures you hear about each expansion first.
